If you’re like most people, you’ve probably heard about many of the fruit juices being promoted for health and wellness benefits. In this article, we’re going to look at a few of them and just get some plain facts.
Juice #1: Goji Berry Juice
This juice is extracted from the Goji berry, or wolfberry, which is grown in the Himalayas and other remote areas in Asia. The Goji berry has been used for 1000’s of years by the chinese for natural health purposes.
The main nutritional benefit Goji berry juice provides are special poly saccharides, which are used by the body for communication and control of your immune system and other body systems. Goji berries also contain an abundance of antioxidants, vitamins and other nutrients.
Juice #2: Xango
This juice comes from the berry of the mangosteen, a tropical evergreen tree. While some sources say that the health benefits of Xango are unproven, that is not a factual assertion. While not as well validated as Goji Juice or nutrients such as glyconutrients, there is a respectable amount of science validation the efficacy of mangosteen juice.
The main nutritional benefit of Xango is its high antioxidant ORAC rating.
Juice #3: Noni Juice
This juice comes from the Morinda citrifolia shrub, which is originally from Asia, but has been spread across the Pacific. Like Xango, Noni is a researched, proven, supplement, though not as much so as others. Also like Xango, Noni’s main health benefits are linked to its antioxidant content.
So, what’s the conclusion? In my opinion, Goji Berry Juice is a higher quality juice than either of the other two, with more nutrients and more scientific backing. Hence, I recommend that people use Goji Juice in preference to the other juices.
