Humans are not the only species that needs to consider evolutionary eating. You see our bodies have evolved over millions of years to eat those things that were around us and to make the best use of them. So, let me enlighten you on The Case for Organic Foods and Evolutionary Eating.
Now then some orangutans were dying off of disease at the Zoo, and so the Zoo went to see what they were eating in their native land. Lots of pomegranates were the only thing that they were not eating in the Zoo that they did back home. So the Zoo fed them Pomegranates, but it did not work.
So, they went back and got pomegranates from their native land and broke them open and they had wasp larva inside. It seems that was what was missing, high in protein and apparently it solved the problem? The orangutans needed the wasp larva, something that we would have considered contaminated fruit. Interesting isn’t it?
So, where as NO, I do not want worms in my apples, tomatoes or strawberries, that is something to consider right? In many countries humans eat native bugs and they derive protein. And if our ancestors, Tree Shrews and our cousins the Orangutans, Chimpanzees, Great Apes eat them too?
Well I am not worried about the African’s eating the Locusts fried or otherwise, or chocolate covered ants or any of a number of things humans eat, digest and live healthy lives eating. So, there are two sides to this issue and the human stomach is very capable.
